 Professional Standards Prosecutor Course

The Peel Regional Police Service in conjunction with Georgian College are pleased to offer a one-week Professional Standards Prosecutor Course specifically designed for individuals who are involved with the prosecution or informal resolution of misconduct under Part V of the Police Services Act and other allegations of misconduct under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Ontario Human Rights Code, and other work-related legislation.  This non-credit course is also ideal for police supervisors and senior officers who oversee police discipline matters.  Emphasis is placed on police management and police associations working together particularly on internal matters that can be resolved within the organization including Alternative Dispute Resolution. 

This is an intensive five-day course, which includes an exam and in-class assignments.
