About:

Terry Cox began his career back in 1988 with the Ontario Provincial Police. Since then Terry has taken on many rolls within his organization. Terry was a Force diver for seven years then became an Emergency Response Team member for three more. As Terry developed as a Police Officer he worked secondments with Organized Crime in the Illegal Gambling Unit then with an area Crime Unit as a Detective. In 1999, Terry started as an In Service Trainer in West Region. He has the pleasure in being an instructor in Use of Force, Firearms, SAP, TASER and Immediate Rapid Deployment. He believes a healthy body leads to a healthy mind and that's why he became a Fitness Appraiser. "Helping other Police Officers in doing it right" is the reason Terry joined In Service Training. Terry is currently a road Sergeant in Lambton County. He continues to return to training, assisting in the APT program as well as Defensive Tactics and TASER recerts. Terry brings with him a host of experience that he looks forward to sharing with others.
