Pete Brandwood began his policing career with the Peel Regional Police in 1990. Pete graduated in 1989 from Laurentian University in Sudbury with an Honours Degree in Physical and Health Education. He has been assigned to Uniform Patrol, the Neighbourhood Policing Unit, and the Criminal Investigation Bureau. Pete has been assigned to the Training Bureau since March of 2000. He completed a 2 year secondment at the Ontario Police College from 2002- 2004.

Pete currently coordinates Recruit Training with the Peel Regional Police, providing instruction on a wide variety of Academic areas. He has provided lectures to outside agencies, including the National Parole/Police Joint Training Committee and the Halton Child Care Registry. Pete became a member of the OAPE Executive in 2004.
