About:

Jeff Littlewood began his policing career in 1984 with the Chatham Kent Police Force.  He has worked in the Community Patrol Branch, Criminal Investigations Branch, Court Services Branch and the Training and Professional Development Branch.  Jeff was promoted to Staff Sergeant in 2004 and transferred to the Community Patrol Branch.  He was transferred in 2009 to the Operational Support Branch where he assumed the duties of Manager of Professional Standards. Those duties included managing the new Public Complaints Procedure (OIPRD), Internal Investigations and overseeing the Training and Professional Development Unit.  Jeff is currently assigned to the Community Patrol Branch as a Platoon Commander.

 

Jeff is an ardent promoter for life-long learning. He taught at St. Clair College Thames Campus in the Law and Security/ Police Foundations Program for a ten year period.  Jeff’s formal education includes a Master in Public Administration from the University of Western Ontario, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Criminology Certificate from the University of Windsor.  He is a graduate from the University of Toronto-Rotman School of Management’s Police Executive Leadership Program.  Jeff has been actively involved with the Ontario Association Police Educators (OAPE) for the past twelve years.  He has been a staunch advocate for providing front line Police Officers with excellent training and education opportunities.
