We are now working hard on the 2008 Annual OAPE Conference. Once again we are proud the conference will be held at the Ontario Police College in late August. The theme of this year's conference is "Be Informed . . .Be safe" Last year's conference was well attended by representatives of police services and community colleges from all corners of the province. Again our thanks go to Director Rudy Gheysen, Registrar Nicole Adams and all the staff at OPC.

The 2008 Reid Course will be held from June 10-13, 2008 at the Canadian Centre for Inland Waters in Burlington, Ontario. Last year there were over 60 representatives from both the private and public sector. Attendees came from as far away as Montreal and Thunder Bay. Due to the strong Canadian Dollar, we have been able to reduce the cost this year from $ 650.00 to $ 590.00 and this still includes the $ 50.00 Reid Handbook!
