About: Gord began his policing career in Toronto in 1984. He has worked in the Foot Patrol, General Patrol, Youth Bureau, Major Crime Unit, and Criminal Investigations Bureau. Gord was promoted to Sergeant in 1996 and is now a Detective who is currently serving at the new Toronto Police College as the e-learning coordinator. Gord is a Provincially certified Major Case Manager and Child Abuse Investigator. He has a diploma from Guelph/Humber for Teaching Effectiveness. Although most of his career has been in investigations,for the past year and a half, Gord has been actively engaged in creating new training programs for police officers across the country through e-learning.

Gord was elected to the Executive in October of 2008.
